Day 1 : Ouarzazate – Foum Zguid – Lac Iriqui – Dunes de l'Erg Chigaga
The adventure begins in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara. We cross through Taznakht to dive into the wild heart of the desert. We’ll make a stop in Foum Zguid for a delicious traditional lunch before heading to the mysterious Lake Iriqui, a dried salt lake of almost surreal beauty.
You’ll arrive at your Berber camp in Erg Chigaga just in time for a stunning sunset over the dunes. We’ll wrap up the day with an authentic dinner under a starlit sky, before spending a magical night in your private nomad tent.
Day 2 : Erg Chigaga – M’hamid – Tamegroute – Zagora – Vallée du Draa – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we travel 64 km through dunes and oases to reach M’hamid, a village where time seems to have stood still. Then, we head to Tamegroute, famous for its fascinating underground Kasbah and its historic Koranic library.
Lunch break in Zagora, followed by a drive up the magnificent Draa Valley, lined with palm groves, ksours, and ancient kasbahs, before completing the loop back in Ouarzazate.
