Day 1 : Marrakech – Zagora (Circuit 4x4 Marrakech – Erg Chigaga)
Your adventure begins at 08:00 AM. You will cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters, offering spectacular panoramas of Berber villages.
After traveling along the Ounila Valley, you will visit the Telouet Kasbah, followed by the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After a traditional lunch, you will cross Ouarzazate and the Anti-Atlas Mountains to reach the Draa Valley, the country’s longest river oasis. Your day concludes in Zagora for an overnight stay in a charming guest house.
Day 2 : Zagora – Dunes de l'Erg Chigaga
After breakfast, you will head into the deep south. You will discover the Amzerou Kasbah and the village of Tamegroute, famous for its 16th-century Koranic library and its unique green pottery workshops.
After lunch in M’Hamid, the adventure gets wild: a two-hour off-road 4×4 drive through dry riverbeds and stony plains will lead you to the giant dunes of Erg Chigaga. You will enjoy a camel trek at sunset before reaching your nomadic camp for an evening filled with Berber songs around the campfire.
Day 3 : Erg Chigaga – Marrakech
Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the rolling dunes of Erg Chigaga. After a traditional breakfast in the camp, the adventure continues as we leave the sand behind and head across the vast dried-up Lake Iriqui, a stunning flat expanse that feels like the end of the world.
We will cross the rugged volcanic landscapes near Foum Zguid and stop for lunch in Taznakht, a village famous for its Berber carpets. In the afternoon, we will re-cross the High Atlas Mountains, reaching Marrakech, with your head full of Saharan memories.
