You will then travel through the picturesque Ounila Valley to reach the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The journey continues through the Dades Valley and the lush Tinghir Oasis, where you’ll encounter traditional Berber villages.
In Merzouga, experience the magic of the Sahara with a camel trek through the Erg Chebbi dunes. You can try your hand at sandboarding or opt for a quad bike excursion at sunset. Your day will end with a memorable night in a traditional desert camp, featuring local cuisine, music, and stargazing.

Day 1 : Marrakech – Haut Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Vallée du Dadès
Your journey begins at 08:00 AM. You will cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains and Berber villages.
After visiting the Telouet Kasbah and traveling through the Ounila Valley, you will discover Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its earthen architecture and cinematic history. The day concludes with a drive through the Valley of the Roses to the Dades Valley, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Day 2 : Boumalne Dadès – Tinghir – Merzouga – Désert du Sahara
After breakfast, you will explore the impressive Todra Gorges, where limestone cliffs rise up to 400 meters high. The journey continues toward Erfoud before reaching the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga.
In the late afternoon, your camel caravan will lead you into the dunes to admire the sunset before reaching your desert camp for a magical evening under the stars.
Day 3 : Merzouga – Vallée du Draa – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
An early wake-up call allows you to witness the sunrise over the dunes. For the return journey, you will take a different route, crossing the volcanic Saghro Mountains and the lush Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river oasis.
After lunch in Ouarzazate and a final crossing of the Atlas Mountains, you will arrive back in Marrakech around 06:30 PM.
