Day 1: Journey to the Edge of the Sahara – M’hamid and the Douibe Dunes
Leave the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, Agadir, or Ouarzazate in the morning and set your sights on M’hamid—the true gateway to the Sahara. The road is yours: enjoy customized stops along the way according to your preferences.
As the day draws to a close, the Douibe dunes reveal themselves for your first magical night in a comfortable, wild desert camp. After a traditional dinner served under the vast celestial vault, you will find yourself fully immersed in the heart of the desert.
Day 2: Into the Wild – Caravan to Erg Sidi Naji
After a breakfast facing the vast desert expanse, take a moment to meet your traveling companions: the nomad team and their camel caravan. Once the gear is loaded, begin your trek at a gentle pace toward Erg Sidi Naji.
At the foot of the dunes, the mausoleum of Sidi Naji stands as a silent witness to local spirituality, still a sacred site for nomadic family pilgrimages. The day ends with a magical night in a desert camp, perfectly nestled in the hollow of the golden sands.
Day 3: The Call of the "Screaming Dunes" – Erg Zahar
Wake up at the first light of dawn, as the sun sets the horizon ablaze. You leave the erg to cross vast, arid plateaus—a landscape of pure freedom where the earth and sky merge in a play of mysterious mirages. Finally, the majestic silhouette of the « Screaming Dunes » of Erg Zahar reveals itself.
This raw and wild desert is an invitation to unplug: enjoy a suspended moment in time to walk barefoot in the silky sand, meditate, or simply savor the absolute silence before a magical night spent on the crests of the dunes.
Day 4: A Sacred Pause – The Nomad Way of Life at Erg Zahar
A sacred pause in the heart of Erg Zahar. Today, we leave the watch behind to savor the stillness of the dunes. Between moments of reading or meditating in the warm sand, let yourself be carried by the gentle rhythm of camp life.
Take part in a nomadic cooking workshop: learn the ancient secrets of « sand bread » and prepare traditional dishes over a wood fire with the team. A day of transmission and authentic sharing, concluding with a second magical night under one of the purest skies in the world.
Day 5: Farewell to the Sahara – Return Journey
Depending on the caravan’s progress, a 4×4 transfer of about one hour will gently bring you back to M’hamid. This is where you leave the vastness of the dunes behind to begin your return journey toward Marrakech, Ouarzazate, or Agadir.
The drive back is a final chance to watch the landscapes of the South drift by one last time before arriving in the evening—your mind filled with star-filled memories of the desert.
